Privacy Policy

Zen Drive is a relaxing driving game for iPhone, with an optional Apple Watch companion, made by an independent developer. This policy explains what the game does with your information.

What Zen Drive does not do

• It has no accounts and no sign-in.
• It collects no analytics, crash reports or usage statistics of its own.
• It shows no ads and contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
• It does not track you across apps or websites.
• It does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. (The motion sensor is used for optional tilt steering, described below.)
• It does not sell or share any data with anyone.

Heart rate (Apple Watch and Health)

If you choose to use the Apple Watch companion, Zen Drive asks for permission to read your heart rate from Health. While you drive, the Watch measures your heart rate and passes it to the game on your iPhone, which shows it on screen and compares it at the end of the drive.

• Heart rate readings stay on your iPhone and Apple Watch. They are not sent to the developer or to any server.
• To keep the Watch measuring continuously, the companion runs a mindfulness session while you drive. Zen Drive does not save heart rate samples to Health.
• Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
• You can turn permission off at any time in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → Zen Drive, or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Heart rate is included for relaxation only. Zen Drive is not a medical device and its readings are not a diagnosis.

Motion sensor (tilt steering)

If you choose to steer by tilting your phone, Zen Drive reads the iPhone's motion sensor (accelerometer and gyroscope) while you drive, and again when you shake the phone. The readings are used on the device, at that moment, to turn the truck, and nothing is recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Tilt steering is off until you switch it on.

Purchases

Subscriptions (Zen Drive Plus) and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your name, Apple ID or payment details. The game keeps a small file on your device recording which features you have unlocked, so they work offline; Apple's servers remain the source of truth, and Restore Purchases re-reads them.

Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Settings stored on your device

Your choices (vehicle, garage setup, camera placement, time of day, weather, music, volume) are saved in the game's own storage on your iPhone. They are included in your device backups under Apple's usual terms and are removed when you delete the app.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and loads nothing from other servers. It is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operation, as described in Netlify's privacy policy.

Children

Zen Drive does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
